Patel becomes Permira’s new co-head of climate

Permira, the global private equity firm, has appointed Anish Patel as partner and co-head of climate.

Based in London, he will co-lead Permira’s dedicated climate investing team alongside Kush Patel, identifying investment opportunities across the climate transition value chain.

Patel brings over 13 years of experience focused on energy and climate transition sectors. He joins from Kerogen Capital, where he was a partner and senior member of the portfolio management team investing globally.

Prior to that, he worked in corporate finance at JPMorgan Cazenove, advising clients in the energy and industrial sectors.

In March, Permira established a dedicated climate investing team with a global, dual focus across both assets and enablers.
