Nuveen hires Moss as nature-based solutions head

Nuveen, the world’s largest investor in farmland, has appointed Nick Moss as head of nature-based solutions in its natural capital arm.

Moss previously led the delivery of the AGRI3 strategy, an initiative of Rabobank and UNEP aiming to mobilise $1 billion in public and private investment in forest conservation and sustainable agriculture.

He led the team in portfolio management of sustainable agriculture and nature-based climate solutions in Latin America, Asia and Africa.

Moss has also held roles at Adam Smith International and PwC. “Moss will play a pivotal role in continuing to grow our natural capital and nature-based solutions offering,” said Skye Macpherson, head of global asset management at Nuveen.
