Residential-living investor, developer and operator Amro Partners has appointed Elisabetta Li Destri Nicosia as its director for sustainability and ESG.

She will lead on the delivery of Amro’s ‘net zero by 2025’ target, working collaboratively with teams
in the UK and Europe to embed sustainability at asset, portfolio and corporate level.

She has a master’s degree in building physics and spent five years working as an architect and 10 years at HTA Design as a sustainability consultant and senior associate in sustainable futures.

Ami Kotecha, co-founder and head of venture investments at Amro Partners, said Li Destri Nicosia’s appointment is “an important part of our commitment to be a net-zero carbon organisation by 2025, creating best-in-class green buildings in the UK and Europe”.

Li Destri Nicosia said: “My technical knowledge and deep understanding of how to design and deliver truly sustainable buildings have driven me to the newly created sustainability and ESG lead role at Amro Partners, which is in a great position to lead from the front.”
