Colliers Germany has appointed David Kohls as head of residential capital markets in Berlin.
Kohls, who has also been made a director, is a real estate economist and was previously an associate with Knight Frank in Berlin. Prior to that he worked for Savills and Angermann.
Felix von Saucken, Head of Residential at Colliers said the firm is also planning to further develop and expand its residential teams at other locations. The firm is also planning to set up a Berlin team for the purchase and sale of apartment buildings.
“Many institutional investors are now increasingly relying on this asset class because it is safe and independent of crises and also offers stable returns and increases in value,”said Kohls.
