Stoneweg appoints CBRE’s Casas to head hospitality

Geneva-headquartered property asset manager Stoneweg has appointed Miguel Casas as managing director, Stoneweg Hospitality. He will be responsible for leading Stoneweg’s focus on the hospitality sector.

As economies emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, the company plans to build a hotels-focused platform comprising investments in key European markets. Stoneweg currently has a hotels portfolio consisting of 1,500 rooms across southern Europe.

Casas has 15 years of experience in the hospitality investment market and joins Stoneweg from CBRE where he worked for 10 years, latterly as head of hotel investment properties, Continental Europe. Before that he was head of hotel investment properties in Spain.
