Heimstaden recruits head of environmental sustainability

Heimstaden has appointed Eva Bienias as group director of environmental sustainability, a newly created role which represents “a significant step in our commitment to embedding environmental considerations into our core business practices”, the Swedish group said.

Bienias has more than 12 years of experience in real estate and was previously at Heimstaden Netherlands for four years. She will formulate and implement environmental policies aligned with Heimstaden’s long-term vision.

“Her extensive expertise in real estate, paired with her proven track record of conducting sustainability projects, makes her the ideal person to drive our environmental initiatives forward,” said Katarina Skalare, chief sustainability officer at Heimstaden.
