BlackRock’s Ryan Stork becomes KKR’s new COO

Former BlackRock deputy COO Ryan Stork has joined New York-listed investment firm KKR as a partner and chief operating officer.

Stork held a number of leadership positions at BlackRock, where he worked for more than 20 years. He had served as chairman of Asia Pacific, global head of BlackRock’s investment and risk management technology platform Aladdin, head of the institutional client business in continental Europe, and co-head of the financial institutions group. He was also a member of BlackRock’s global executive committee and a board member of BlackRock’s foundation. During his career, Stork has worked and lived in New York, London, and Hong Kong.
