Resi decarbonisation specialist Reneo hires Lambros Reppas
Germany’s Reneo Group, which specialises in the decarbonisation of residential real estate, has hired investment and asset management expert Lambros Reppas as managing director.
Reppas will lead the institutional business line and further develop Reneo Asset Management, the company’s investment and asset management arm. His responsibilities will include the establishment of asset and portfolio management as well as investment and financing activities.
“With Lambros Reppas, we are gaining an outstanding expert who perfectly complements our mission to drive the decarbonisation and value enhancement of residential real estate,” said Alexander Graubner-Müller, founder and co-CEO of Reneo. “His extensive experience in structuring real estate portfolios and his international expertise will significantly advance our institutional business and help expand our leading market position.”
Reppas has extensive experience in the international real estate and investment banking sectors, most recently with Silvertip Capital Germany as managing director, where he oversaw residential portfolios worth approximately €1 billion for international investors and private equity funds.
He was previously managing director at Corestate Capital, developing the Micro Living & Residential arm. His career also includes roles at AXA Investment Managers, Inovalis Group, SVP Global, and Hoist Finance.
Reneo is a technology and asset management platform and focuses on the sustainable transformation of residential real estate, supported by €600 million in funding from investors including Peakside Capital, Eurazeo, and Goldman Sachs.
Reneo transacted over €500 million in existing residential properties in recent years and more than €200 million in 2024, primarily in Hamburg and Berlin. Further significant investments are planned to implement develop-to-green strategies in Germany’s top seven cities.
Using its proprietary end-to-end technology platform, RCS (Reneo Core System), Reneo analyses the energy performance of properties and optimises investment and renovation strategies.
