Berlin Hyp first German bank to issue a bond on a blockchain
Berlin Hyp has become the first bank in Germany to issue a mortgage Pfandbrief, or digital covered bond, on a blockchain. The crypto debt security will have a nominal value of €100 million, with the pricing process to be completed on August 2nd, and it will have a three-year term.
