Sonae Sierra partners Grupo Ferreira for €42m Porto project

Sonae Sierra and Grupo Ferreira have joined forces to develop a state-of the- art office complex in Porto.

With an investment of around €42 million, the scheme will be developed with contemporary, flexible architecture and “exacting sustainability requirements”.

Designs envisage a nine-storey office tower with a gross building area of approximately 19,000 sq m and 338 underground parking spaces. The office complex will have a contemporary architectural style and architect Broadway Malyan has emphasised flexibility, innovation and sustainability.

This project is part of Sonae Sierra’s strategy to develop the cities of the future and Grupo Ferreira’s strategy to be present in competitive markets characterised by strong demand

Sonae Sierra and Grupo Ferreira have created a 50/50 joint venture partnership which will develop a state-of the- art office complex in the Business Zone of Porto in Portugal and will invest about €42 million in the project.
