Deadline for entering 2023 logistics census now imminent

The findings of the annual European Logistics Census, carried out by Tritax EuroBox, Savills and Analytiqa, have quickly become established as important indicators of how the logistics real estate  market is performing.

The third edition of the census is now underway.

“Over the last two years we’ve had fascinating results,” said Savills director Kevin Mofid, head of EMEA industrial and logistics research. “From investors, developers and occupiers looking at some of the key trends in the market, looking at where pricing’s going, investment volumes, rental growth, development pipelines – all of the important metrics for the logistics market.”

“With the market in the state of flux that it’s currently in, we’re really interested to hear from all stakeholders in the industry so we can piece together how the market is going to move over the next 12 to 18 months.”

Mofid said the occupier market is still performing well as base rates have risen across Europe, it has clearly had an effect on capital markets.

“We’re very keen to see how sentiment is within the investment community, which will help us understand where the market is heading.”

Anyone with an interest in the logistics sector across Europe can usefully contribute to the census. “Whether you’re an investor, a developer, an asset manager, an occupier, an agent or any other consultant, your views are equally important and will help us understand where the market is moving,” he added.

The results will be published in early September so the census survey will close at the end of July. As an additional incentive survey participants will be entered into a prize draw to win an Amazon voucher worth £500, or the equivalent in local currency.
