Technological and digital innovations are key to change

Innovation is about change and we need to embrace technological and digital opportunities to drive change according to Elsbeth Quispel, head of innovation, Redevco.

However, looking at the bigger perspective can also help create more systemic change, she says and from a real estate and urban perspective big data can help the process of anticipating trends.

Quispel says that innovation is needed to look at challenges in a different way but we must be willing to act even before the solutions have been found to particular problems.

“We need to evolve ourselves …to embrace that approach  and  to take a much more iterative approach to the way we try to solve small and big challenges,” she says.
