The outlook is very positive for the Irish real estate market, Claire Solon, Managing Director of Greystar Ireland, told Real Asset Media’s Richard Betts in an interview.
The fundamentals are in place, as Ireland’s GDP growth is set to be the highest in Europe, unemployment is low and demographics are positive.
Looking at sectors, Industrial and Logistics have been strong, retail warehousing has been resilient and there’s been a lot of investor interest in residential, especially PRS, with many transactions and price increases.
The office sector has seen a slowdown in take-up due to the pandemic, but Dublin remains a strong market, with the top 5 tech companies in the world choosing to have large offices there.
