Investor opportunities in Poland’s senior living market
There is considerable untapped potential in the Polish market for investors in senior living options Dagmara Kryskiewicz, managing director, Veda Global Investments points out.
Just as in other European countries, Poland’s population is aging dramatically and lifespans are being extended expanding the number of over-65 year olds and there is an increasing need to address the needs of this cohort.
Loneliness needs to be addressed and community-based concepts will provide more comfortable living, and increase well-being and both mental and physical health Kryskiewicz told Real Asset Insight’s Richard Betts.
Concepts that are not yet present in the Polish market would be a good starting point for investors, such as assisted living, independent living and serviced accommodation for seniors.
“Especially by addressing impact investing and ESG concepts, so that investors not only have a good investment opportunity in terms of a stable asset, but will also leave a legacy of care and compassion.”
