The largest cooperative renovation project to date in Germany is being undertaken by The Hagen Housing Association and the Berlin-based company ecoworks. In the Hagen-Helfe district in North Rhine-Westphalia, a total of twelve residential buildings with 192 apartments are undergoing comprehensive energy-efficiency upgrades to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.
