Valor promotes Massias to head of development role

European logistics specialist Valor Real Estate Partners has appointed Victor Massias as head of developments, a new role.

Paris-based Massias, who joined Valor as a principal in 2016, has also been promoted to partner.

Valor said in a statement that development will form an increasingly important part of Valor’s future strategy. Massias will oversee Valor’s in-house development activity which includes a pipeline of about 93,000 sq m (1 million sq ft) in London and Paris. Valor has a 30-asset portfolio in France worth approximately €400 million.

Massias’s promotion follows the November 2020 launch of a joint venture with QuadReal to invest over €1 billion in urban logistics assets in the UK, France and Germany, with a significant commitment to development opportunities.

Massias started his career at CBRE Global Investors and prior to joining Valor was a director at IDI Gazeley Brookfield.
