Mark England steps down as BNP Paribas Real Estate UK CEO

Mark England is stepping down as UK chief executive officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate, the property consultancy, less than a year after taking the role. Gary Higgins, managing director of subsidiary Strutt & Parker, has been appointed interim chief executive officer while the board undertakes a formal succession process. England, who became UK chief executive officer in October 2025 after serving as chief operating officer, will remain as a senior adviser during the transition. Nico Keller, deputy chief executive officer and head of capital markets in Germany, has also been appointed interim head of UK advisory.
