KGAL appoints Vormann new head of institutional business

Carolin Vormann has joined Munich-based KGAL as head of institutional business in which role she leads global sales activities and strategic product development. She previously worked for HSBC capital markets in the DACH region as managing director, global relationship banker insurance.
“With her extensive expertise in institutional sales, we will take an important strategic step towards enhancing our focus on the needs of our institutional clients,” said KGAL co-CEO and head of sales Florian Martin.
Prior to HSBC, she was head of non-bank financial intermediation at Commerzbank, heading up the insurance and pension fund teams.
Vormann began her career in the insurance industry in Hanover having completed her professional training in insurance and passing two state examinations in law.
