Harbert appoints Matilda Williams head of European capital formation

Harbert Management Corporation, the US-based alternative asset manager specialising in real assets, has appointed Matilda Williams as managing director and head of European capital formation. Based in its London office, she will lead relationships with existing European investors while developing new limited partner relationships with European institutional investors and family offices. Williams joins from AEW, where she was an executive director in investor relations. Before that, she was senior vice president of investor relations at PineBridge Benson Elliot, helping raise more than €1.5 billion for the firm’s pan-European value-add real estate fund series.
