Europa hires Patrizia’s Aqil Nagji

Aqil Nagji, formerly with Patrizia, has joined Europa’s investment management team as director, fund management.

 Nagji will be based in London working initially as deputy fund manager alongside Simon Hooper, who is retiring at the end of the year, before taking over Hooper’s responsibilities as fund manager. He will support head of investment management Amirali Kasraie.

 Nagji was with Patrizia for over five years where he was a fund manager overseeing both value-add and core strategies. Prior to Patrizia, he was a financial analyst at Toronto and New York-listed Granite Real Estate Investment Trust, having previously spent almost three years from 2015 to 2018 at Deloitte.
