Edith Monfries joins NewRiver board as executive director

NewRiver, the UK retail real estate investment trust, has appointed Edith Monfries as an executive director with effect from 1 August. Monfries joined the company in 2015 and has served on its executive committee since 2018. As chief operating and people officer, she has deployed her operational and financial capability across the business, supporting the continued development of NewRiver’s platform. A chartered accountant who qualified with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, her appointment reflects the increasingly operational nature and growing scale of NewRiver’s business, including the growth of its capital partnerships activities.
