Cushman’s Bastijn joins CBRE Investment Management

Jan-Willem Bastijn, previously with Cushman & Wakefield, has joined CBRE Investment Management as head of EMEA transactions for direct real estate strategies.

Based in Amsterdam, he will be responsible for accelerating EMEA platform growth and leading the transaction teams of 10 EMEA offices.

Bastijn worked for Cushman & Wakefield for over 20 years, most recently as chair of capital markets EMEA with a focus on servicing pan-regional investors and leading cross-border investment transactions.

Joining on the 1 March, Bastijn will report to Rik Eertink, president EMEA real estate division at CBRE IM.
