Birchgrove hires The Collective’s Beresford

UK-focused rented retirement home provider Birchgrove has appointed Russ Beresford as development director. Prior to joining Birchgrove, he was head of development at co-living provider The Collective and he has also held roles at Landsec, Blackstone Property Management, Hammerson and Lend Lease.

His previous roles include work in a number of other property sub-sectors, including Central London office development, out-of-town retail and city centre mixed-use development.

Beresford’s appointment follows the appointment last year of Marcus Hodges, who became as chief operating officer and Raphaël Koifman, now chief financial officer.
