Panattoni begins spec logistics project next to Brighton airport

Panattoni has begun speculatively developing an 81,706 sq m logistics asset next to Brighton City Airport.

Panattoni Park Brighton will consist of seven units ranging from 6045 sq m to 16,957 sq m. They will be built to BREEAM excellent standard and aim for an EPC A rating, in an effort to prioritise energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.

The asset is Panattoni’s third development start south of London this year, along with a 137,912 sq m last-mile development at Burgess Hill and a 60,960 sq m development in Crawley. Panattoni believes that the demand-supply imbalance of the south coast logistics market is acute.
