Germany’s ZBI takes first step into Dutch residential market

German residential property specialist ZBI Zentral Boden Immobilien Group is making its Dutch debut by acquiring a residential development project in The Hague, Netherlands from La Maison Haute de NL.

The acquisition is by means of a forward funding agreement. The project, known as Green Harbour, will comprise 68 residential units and 64 underground car parking spaces and is located in the the city’s Scheveningen district, the Netherlands’ largest seaside resort.

The 5,702 sq m development is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025. The general contractor is Ridge Green Harbour.

The design of the building incorporates a photovoltaic system on the roof to generate energy for the decentralised heating and air-conditioning systems, which comprise heat pumps in combination with geothermal power. The building will be almost self-sufficient in terms of heating and air-conditioning.
