Construction work has already started on the 24,000 m2 centre near the A2 motorway near Wessem, a short drive from the connection with the A73. The new development is mostly comprised of warehouse space but it also includes office space and a mezzanine as well as 20 loading docks and 185 parking spaces on site.

“Thus is one of our four projects presented in Central and Southern Limburg, a province where we see great future potential”, said Jeroen Gerritsen, General Manager, Panattoni Netherlands. “The strategic location in relation to the German hinterland and the proximity of four airports within an hour’s drive make the region extremely suitable for companies that operate on an international scale”.

The new logistics distribution centre will be sustainable, meeting BREEAM Very Good standard like all Panattoni projects. The development is expected to be completed in January 2023. The entire complex, which will offer tenants great visibility thanks to its location near the motorway, will be available for rent.
