CTP deal increases scope of €125m Brno industrial project
Logistics space developer and investor CTP has signed a sale-and-leaseback deal with Czech agricultural machinery producer Zetor Tractors which will add 69,000 sq m of buildings and development land to its €125 million project in Czech city Brno.
The deal consolidates CTP’s ownership and increases the total land size to 29 hectares. On completion, CTPark Brno Líšeň will provide some 150,000 sq m of lettable space.
Work began on CTPark Brno Líšeň in 2019 and CTP said the latest acquisition marks a major step in the overall transformation of the former Zetor brownfield industrial site into a modern light manufacturing, retail, research, and inner city logistics park.
“We have worked with Zetor for the past three years and this transaction represents an important milestone in the project for CTP, having agreed several deals leading to the creation of the largest brownfield industrial / logistics redevelopment by GLA in Brno,” David Chládek, country head, CTP Czech Republic said.
CTP has already developed 30,000 sq m there and aims to complete the 80,000 sq m under construction by 2024/2025.
The project is being built to BREEAM Excellent standards and solar energy is being used as a secondary source of electricity.
