Corestate adds Vienna tower to European micro living portfolio
Corestate is expanding its European micro living portfolio, adding a trophy tower in Vienna with 671 furnished flats on the Danube Canal.
The German investment manager’s brand “Linked Living powered by Youniq” has launched TrIIIple Vienna, its second location in the Austrian capital. The 35-storey building, part of a trio of 125m high towers in Vienna’s 3rd district close to the Prater, is an innovative mixed-use project aimed at students and young professionals.
The 671 apartments all have balconies or terraces and the building, designed to be a community, includes a cinema, working lounges and a large shared kitchen. Additional commercial space has already been leased to fitness studio operator Fit/One and to restaurant operator Treble. On the top floor there is a roof terrace accessible to all residents with a panoramic view of Vienna, as well as rooftop disco.
TrIIIple Vienna will be a sustainable building which will introduce some innovative energy measures. All the water used for heating and cooling will be taken from the Danube Canal river next to the property, which will save over 2,000 tonnes of CO2 a year for the entire project.
“With Linked Living TrIIIple Vienna we are sending a clear signal that we are playing in the top league in European micro living,” said Lambros Reppas, European head of asset management, residential & mciro-living, Corestate. “We have succeeded in realising a truly spectacular project that can stand up to any comparison”.
Corestate believes the sector has great potential, Reppas said: “We still have a lot of plans and will continue to put our heart and soul into expanding our European presence in micro-living because we are convinced that the demand for high-quality, contemporary and, above all, needs-based temporary living space will continue to grow in the years to come”.
The group’s Austrian locations until now have had the name “Linked Living”. In future, they will also operate under the Youniq brand, which Corestate plans to develop into the leading micro living brand in Europe.
Corestate’s micro living pan-European platform includes assets in Germany, Spain and Poland as well as Austria and the group also has a subsidiary in the UK, CRM Students.
TrIIIple Vienna will be officially launched at an open door event on September 16th and 17th.
