DWS pays developer Torus €80m for Gdańsk office asset

German fund manager DWS has paid more than €80 million for a 35,000 sq m business complex in Gdańsk, northern Poland.

The asset, known as Neon, has been acquired from local developer Torus and is the fourth and final stage of its Alchemia business complex.

Designed by the APA Wojciechowski Architekci studio, Neon took two years to build and was completed in October 2019. It has a LEED Platinum certification.

The acquisition by DWS concludes the development and sale of the Alchemia project which has taken 10 years.

Torus said that, including Neon, it has now completed seven investment sales to six different funds including five buildings on the Arkońska Business Park and the four stages of Alchemia, realising a total of €370 million.
