Panattoni commences third Netherlands logistics project

Panattoni Europe’s Dutch subsidiary is to develop an ultra-modern 20,791 sq m logistics distribution centre in the Netherlands’ Moerdijk.

The project consists of a warehouse area of 18,490 sq m, plus offices and a mezzanine. The building, which will have 18 loading docks and one overhead door, is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2022.

Known as Distributioncenter Moerdijk, the project is located in the port area of Moerdijk, an important logistic hub due to its strategic location between Rotterdam and Antwerp.

Jeroen Gerritsen, general manager of Panattoni Netherlands said: “This is our third project in the Netherlands, 12 months after Panattoni came to the Netherlands and there is still more to come.” He said that complex brownfield developments are “the ultimate form of sustainability.
