Knight Frank has launched a dedicated data centres service for EMEA and APAC and has appointed Stephen Beard, previously with CBRE, to lead the new department.
Beard joins KF as a partner and head of EMEA and APAC data centres where KF says he will “concentrate on this rapidly growing part of the alternatives market.”
The EMEA and APAC data centres team will form a core part of the firm’s global service line, KF said in a statement. It will also complement the firm’s US team.
KF’s data centres team will specialise in investment, site transactions and advising occupiers on the data centres market throughout EMEA and Asia Pacific. This will be particularly in the key markets of Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and Paris in Europe and core APAC markets Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
The team will work closely with Knight Frank’s industrial and land teams.
