Tenant influx boosts rents and steadies Paris capital values

Paris has remained steady in terms of investment pricing according to Guillaume Turcas, Managing Partner, Faro Capital Partners. But the really interesting thing is that the rental values are going up: “Meaning really, really up,” Turcas added.

Many companies are looking for space in Paris, particularly those in the suburbs and talent acquisition is frequently the driver.

“We’ve seen values over the summer that we’ve never reached before, even in the early 2000s or the early 1990s,” Turcas said. Companies such as Cisco and Sony that might previously have favoured a location near the airport or in a suburban setting are choosing Paris and space that would previously have been the preserve of big corporates and lawyers.
