A report in the Financial Times has explored how shopping centres can recover from the pandemic. Solutions include more mixed-use space including conversion of basements and car parks into last mile distribution centres.

Some investors are optimistic about high street retail and Paris is attracting attention, but local shopping is also thriving as London’s Brixton Village demonstrates.
