Cross-border investors drawn by Poland’s resilience

The current pandemic and its financial impact have tested many economies but Poland has been resilient in terms of business continuity and delivery.

The foreign direct investment (FDI) sector has taken note, as Jake Jephcott, development director of Olivia Business Centre, Gdansk told Real Asset Media’s Richard Betts.

The impact of the downturn has not been as great as had been anticipated and relocating companies looking for a destination which is more westernised and in which hybrid solutions that mix working from home and office working are easier to accomplish are looking to Poland.

Gdansk itself is also getting more attention both from investors and from Polish people, many of whom are attracted by its coastal location as health and well-being become more important factors in their location decisions.
