Competitiveness key to Spain’s economic bounce back

Maria Jesús Fernández, Executive Director, ICEX – Invest in Spain, tells the Real Asset Day that the current EU GDP forecast for Spain is a 9.4% fall this year, followed by a +7% rebound next year.

She says its increased competitiveness will be the key to get out of the current crisis and there are already some signs of economic recovery with a positive PMI index and consumer confidence.
