UK Logistics institute names Kindleysides as CEO

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK has appointed Sharon Kindleysides as its Chief Executive Officer. Kindleysides, who succeeds Kevin Richardson, who is retiring has had roles as ITS Director for Transport in New South Wales, Australia and CEO of Kapsch TrafficCom. She also served as chairman of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in the UK.

Most recently, she has had consultancy roles in future mobility and smart cities and has mentored a number of international start-ups focussed on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and approaches to achieving net-zero.

Passionate about diversity, equality and inclusion in all areas, Sharon helped set up the Women in ITS Forum and served as its first chair.
