Sustainability expert Carson joins CBRE advisory team
CBRE has appointed Sam Carson (pictured) to lead its sustainability advisory services within the UK valuation and advisory business which is led by Nick Knight.
Carson was most recently director of sustainability at consultancy Carbon Intelligence, responsible for leading and developing sustainability solutions for commercial real estate.
He is an expert in net zero pathways, with a detailed understanding of operational, embodied and whole life carbon. He also sits on the GRESB European Benchmark Committee.
In his new role, Carson will be responsible for integrating sustainability benchmarks and consulting services within CBRE’s valuation business. Additionally, he will provide a fund valuation service that offers asset-level reporting using industry benchmarks.
