Boschmans joins Tristan to help distressed hotel drive

Tristan Capital Partners has said it is eyeing distressed hotel opportunities in a bid to to expand its hotels investment strategy and has hired Luc Boschmans (pictured right) as managing director of hospitality investments across Europe.

Boschmans will join Tristan’s hospitality team, reporting to Ali Otmar along with Kristian Smyth, executive director in the investments team, and Chris Kusuma, who also joined Tristan this month as an associate director.

Boschmans joins from Archer Hotel Capital, formerly Host Hotels & Resorts, where he spent a decade managing a pan-European luxury hotel portfolio. He also has substantial operational hotel experience from companies including Hilton and Hyatt.
