Amal Del Monaco joins Patrizia as Rikke Lykke moves on

Axa IM Alts’ Amal Del Monaco is joining Patrizia as European head of asset management and chair of country heads, taking over from Rikke Lykke.

Del Monaco has been with Axa for 24 years, most recently as global head of living (2020-21) and before that, as head of asset management sector specialists (2018-2020).

She is fluent in four languages, including Spanish and French, and will strengthen Patrizia’s regional expertise in south-western Europe.

Del Monaco, who will be based in Paris, will lead asset management across Patrizia’s pan-European portfolio, and will report to global CIO Anne Kavanagh.

Lykke, who will depart Patrizia in July, is taking up a new, as yet unspecified, senior leadership role in the industry.
