Affiliations and hires expand Avison Young’s CEE coverage
Avison Young has formed strategic affiliations in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria, both of which will operate under the Avison Young brand and deliver integrated services to local and multinational clients.
The firm has brought together a group of leading real estate professionals in the Czech Republic to establish the Avison Young brand locally from 1 April. The team will be led by principal and managing director of Avison Young in the Czech Republic, Ryan Wray, a capital markets and valuation specialist.
Wray will work in close coordination with David Canta, principal and managing director of Avison Young in Romania, and a team of real estate professionals in the Czech Republic with extensive experience in the Czech and Slovak markets. The team will advise occupiers and landlords in areas including capital markets & investment brokerage; valuation advisory services; office, retail and industrial leasing, property management; and research & consulting services.
In Bulgaria, the firm has formed an affiliation with Slavtchev Consulting. Founded in 2012 by Anton Slavtchev, the firm is a leader in brokerage, advisory and office building management in Bulgaria and also provides landlord and tenant representation services, marketing advisory services and market research.
Avison Young said the affiliations build on its recent strategic affiliation with real estate advisory and asset management group Limehouse, which provides advisory services in Hungary as Avison Young.
Meanwhile, in Romania the firm has recruited Andrei Voica, to lead the workplace advisory and project management services unit. Previously, Voica was project management and workplace advisory director at Colliers International Romania.
